Why should I join the DSCPA?

Membership in the Delaware Society of CPAs has many benefits including discounts on CPE and job postings, exclusive member events, a members-only online forum, access to benefits with our partners, and adding your voice to legislative outreach.

What types of membership categories does the DSCPA have?

The DSCPA has member categories for CPAs, Temporarily Inactive CPAs, Retired CPAs, Out-of-State CPAs, Non-Certified Staff, CPA Candidates and Students.

How much are dues?

The DSCPA operates on a May-April fiscal year. Dues are posted and payable in May. Applicants who join in the first half of the fiscal year pay full dues (May-October). Applicants who join in the second half of the year pay half dues (November-April). Dues must be paid at the time of the application. The current dues rates are as follows:

Is membership in the DSCPA required?

No. The DSCPA is a voluntary membership organization.

What is the difference between the Delaware Society of CPAs and the Delaware Board of Accountancy?

The Delaware Society of CPAs is a voluntary membership organization. The Delaware Board of Accountancy is the CPA licensing body in the State of Delaware. The Board of Accountancy issues and oversees Delaware CPA permits to practice.

I am currently a member but need to change my membership type. How do I do that?

To update your member type, make sure that you are logged in to the website. Click Join, and complete the application that most closely applies to your new member type. You will be billed later if you owe additional dues.

Does the DSCPA have firm memberships?

No. The DSCPA only has individual memberships.
